The duration of the distance education-mode MBA course conducted by the Institute of Distance Education of Kerala University has been reduced from three years to two years.

The fee has also been reduced from Rs 45,000 to Rs 30,000. Those with 50 percent marks in degree courses can apply for the course. The admission will be on the basis of an entrance examination. The change will come into effect from 2009 admission onwards.
