Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) on Sunday, January 3, 2010.  XAT is the entrance exam for Xavier Labour Relation Institute Jamshedpur, Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar and other MBA institutes. The test will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm

FMS 2010 (Sunday, January 10, 2010)
The next exam to follow is Faculty of Management Studies entrance exam. FMS 2010 is scheduled on Sunday, January 10, 2010. It is a two hour exam and will be held in 20 cities across India.

NMAT 2010 (Saturday, January 30 to Monday, February 8, 2010)
The next exam in the row is Narsee Monjee Aptitutde Test (NMAT), which is the entrance exam for Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) which will be an online test. It will be held in a 10 day window, starting from Saturday, January 30 to Monday, February 8, 2010. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes. The exam will be held in 19 centers across India apart from international test centers.

MAT (Sunday, February 7, 2010)
Management Aptitude Test (MAT), the entrance exam organized by AIMA, which is held four times a year, is scheduled for Sunday, February 7, 2010. As the test will be held in both paper pencil and computer based test, the computer based test will be held from Saturday, February 13 onwards.

ATMA (Sunday, February 14, 2010)
The next exam to look forward to is AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) which is scheduled on Sunday, February 14, 2010. This is a three hour exam with 170 questions. The last date for the sale of the application kit is Saturday, January 23, 2010 and the last date for online registration is Monday, January 25, 2010.

Maharashtra MBA CET 2010
The Director of Technical Education(DTE) have announced the dates of MBA CET 2010 . The Maharashtra MBA CET 2010 will be held on February 21, 2010 (Sunday)

Everybody wants to pursue MBA program from Top MBA colleges because after studying from these colleges, there is a high chance of getting employment in the reputed companies. Do regularly practice tests:- Today, there are many websites that provide free online practice tests for assessment. You can do practice on these tests. For getting good score in GMAT entrance exam, you should do practice tests as many as possible. You should attempt at least 20 practice tests before going to the entrance exam.

Throughout your MBA, you will no doubt have been toiling with the different areas of your operational experience and management that should have emphasis in essays and projects that you have been working on.  This will also be true when you are thinking about your MBA dissertation topic, as you will need to choose an element within your organisation to conduct an in-depth study.

Business dissertation topics do contain a wide ranging of different subjects to choose from and you should not look towards being constrained just by the department where you work.  You should also look at other departments that your team works with and look towards analysing the affects that both have on the topic at hand, and whether there are any affecting other aspects too.

An MBA dissertation is a complex and challenging research paper to complete; you will need to present your thoughts and viewpoint of the entire organisation and fit all the ‘building blocks’ into the right places.  This will result in effective components that can be implemented in your organisation, moving both yourself (academically and professionally), and the organisation (people and processes) forward.

IGNOU launched a new domain in management studies, ‘MBA Management Practices’ in collaboration with Bharti Learning Systems Limited (BLS).

The MBA programme will ensure specialization in six professional areas like – Telecommunication, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources (HR), Insurance, Retail and Banking.

The programme is an outcome of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in March 2009 by IGNOU and BLS for five years, renewable under certain terms laid down by IGNOU.

The entry point is Graduation, with 10+2+3 years and above, from a UGC recognized University.

In the four-semester schedule, the programme ensures Certificate, Diploma, and PG Diploma to a student after completion of the first three semesters, respectively, before the fourth, which will entail the MBA – Management Practices degree.

An MBA (Master of Business Administration) is a graduate degree obtained at a university or college that offers both theoretical and practical training to provide graduates general knowledge about general business management functions.
