IIM-S issues tamper-proof certificates for PGDM students
With technology making inroads into institute campuses, IIM Shillong ( IIM-S ) decided to webcast its first convocation ceremony on 3 April 2010. Earlier, the institute conducted video conferencing for placement purposes, thus defying the disadvantages of distance and connectivity. Since many students and their relatives were unable to attend the convocation, it was decided to explore webcast and reach out, which was a successful venture.
